That’s why we offer adaptive movement classes - gentle, mindful sessions tailored for people living with disabilities, illnesses, injuries, chronic pain, fatigue or mobility challenges.
Whether you’re navigating arthritis, autoimmune conditions, neurological conditions like MS or Parkinson’s, recovering from surgery or injury or simply feeling limited by pain, stiffness or fatigue, you are welcome here.
Adaptive Movement is a flexible, inclusive approach that modifies traditional yoga, Pilates and breathwork practices to suit your unique body needs and goals.
Using props such as chairs, bolsters, straps and blankets, along with plenty of encouragement, we meet you exactly where you are. Movements may be done seated, lying down or standing with support. Every element is guided with compassion and care at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
This is the opposite of one-size-fits-all exercise. You don’t have to fit the movement. We adapt the movement to fit you!
